The Four Oaks Chamber of Commerce is excited to share that through the American Express® Amex Shop Small® Grants Program, more than 500 small businesses across the country have been selected as grant recipients, with over $10 million awarded nationwide.
Each recipient received a $20,000 grant to help grow their business, drive innovation, and continue supporting the local communities they serve.
We are especially proud and excited to announce that All Out Bikes is one of the grant recipients! Congratulations to Jason and Susan Jennette on this outstanding accomplishment and well-deserved recognition. Their dedication to serving customers, supporting the community, and growing a successful small business in Four Oaks is something our community is truly proud of.
The program originally launched with a $5 million commitment to support 250 small businesses in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. Through the generosity shown during Small Business Saturday®, the impact of the program expanded significantly. For every eligible transaction made on Small Business Saturday, $1 was contributed to the grant program, and American Express added an additional $5.1 million—bringing the total investment to more than $10 million.
Programs like this highlight the importance of supporting small businesses and shopping local. Small businesses are the heart of our communities, helping create jobs, strengthen local economies, and make towns like Four Oaks unique and vibrant places to live, work, and visit.
