Congratulations Meredith Fordham- October Educators Lead

The Four Oaks Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Fairytale Sweets are celebrating Mrs. Meredith Fordham for the honor. The Four Oaks Chamber of Commerce Board felt Mrs. Fordham deserves the recognition for all she does to contribute to successful students. Mrs. Fordham was presented with a certificate of recognition, and decorated sugar cookies from Fairytale Sweets as well as a basket of gifts from many of the Chamber member businesses. The Four Oaks Chamber of Commerce is honored to recognize the lasting contributions made to the Four Oaks community by our school educators

Four Oaks Elementary shared as part of this nomination, Meredith Fordham is a Kindergarten teacher at Four Oaks Elementary. A parent of one of her former students recently said, “She is an amazing teacher. My son had her and he asked why she couldn’t be his teacher for all his classes through school.” Meredith is very nurturing, desires strong relationships with the families of her students, and has high expectations for herself along with her students. Meredith often works with aspiring educators from universities in our area and serves as a role model to the children in our community. Meredith is also active in a variety of local community-based organizations.

Mrs. Fordham is a dedicated, compassionate, and very patient person. She loves everyone. Time and again, she is described as being an amazing teacher. 

The Four Oaks Chamber of Commerce and Fairytale Sweets have partnered to present Educators Lead Four Oaks, a monthly recognition for Four Oaks educators. Four Oaks educators are a vital part of developing and leading our future workforce and future community leaders. The Four Oaks Chamber of Commerce recognizes educators who motivate and inspire students and staff through their educating practices and their commitment to the community.
