Partnership for Children of Johnston County

For over twenty years, we have been a trusted non-profit organization that uses evidence-based practices to serve young children, families, and childcare providers. We advocate for the rights of young children, community resources for families, and worthy wages and benefits for childcare providers.

We support families by offering parent education, providing child passenger safety seats with installation instructions, connecting families to childcare and community resources, conducting early childhood assessments, and offering access to free diapers. Additionally, we provide training and technical assistance to childcare providers. We are also the contract administrator for NC Pre-K, which is the state-funded public preschool program for eligible four-year-olds.

The Partnership effectively utilizes a multitude of resources to ensure that Johnston’s youngest residents and their families receive educational, health, and emotional support services, preparing children for lifelong success.
