On August 12, 2026, a special Main Street Time Capsule was buried in front of All Out Bikes, located at 106 S. Main Street.
Jason Jennette, owner of All Out Bikes, came up with the wonderful idea of creating a time capsule to commemorate the businesses and community of Four Oaks during the historic 2026 Main Street Revitalization. Local businesses contributed items representing Four Oaks today, creating a snapshot of our community for future generations to discover.
The capsule also includes unique pieces of our time, including pennies—now no longer being minted—that may seem like an oddity many years from now when the capsule is discovered, perhaps during another Main Street renovation!
Congratulations and thank you to Jason for this creative idea and for finding such a memorable way to preserve a piece of Four Oaks history for generations to come!
