McGee’s Crossroads – Benson, NC – On November 18, 2025, CommWell Health a
Community Health Center System serving Southeastern North Carolina, announced the
reopening of its 7,700 sq ft McGee’s Crossroads office for improved patient experience
located at 70 Crape Myrtle Dr., in Benson, after extensive renovations.
CommWell Health has been serving the Johnston County community for nearly 50
years. The renovation of McGee’s Crossroads location reflects CommWell Health’s
commitment to provide exceptional care for individuals and communities in a state-of-
the-art facility. “Our goal is to continually enrich the services we provide to our
community, creating spaces that feel comfortable, welcoming, and supportive,” said
Pamela Tripp, MEd, MSOM, CEO of CommWell Health. “These improvements
strengthen our mission to improve health outcomes and create a true health home,

Renovations include a new enhanced lobby, with a dedicated women’s health addition,
enhanced OB/GYN exam rooms, medical exam rooms, provider care team room, a new
dental exam room, WIC and administrative offices. “This beautiful patient friendly space
reflects our deep commitment to providing convenient high quality oral health for all.” Dr.

The CommWell Health McGee’s location provides a range of healthcare services; family
medicine and dental for children and adults, behavioral health virtual visits, home
delivery pharmacy service with free shipping (Express Discount Meds), ExpressCare
(online urgent care visits), WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) services. As one of the

is available on select months and days.
